Neighbours forced to leave their homes

NEIGHBOURS living either side of a flat on a Bromsgrove estate were evacuated in the early hours of this morning when fire broke out. Firefighters using two appliances were called to the premises in Austin Road, Charford at 1.20am. A brigade spokesman said later the flat was unoccupied and the cause of the blaze was being investigated. Neighbours were allowed back into their homes after two hours.
