GREEN FINGERED residents at a Bromsgrove care home have been reaping the fruits of their labour this week.
Residents at Tutnall Hall Care Home, in Tutnall Lane, have been busy planting organic fruit and vegetables, including tomatoes and cucumbers over the past few months.
After a long wait, residents have now been able to sample some of the fine produce they have grown.
Care home activities co-ordinator Gillian Squance, said: “The residents have really enjoyed planting and picking the vegetables and we are hoping to get some more in the ground for another harvest later in the summer.”
