ADVENTUROUS volunteers are needed for a fundraising parachute jump.
The Primrose Hospice is giving Bromsgrove residents the chance to become a daredevil and raise money for the hospice, based in St Godwalds Road, in the process.
There are two chances to take the plunge. The first jump is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 29, in Brackley, the second on Saturday, August 5, in Cirencester. Both are weather permitting.
There is a choice of three jumps. The first is an accelerated freefall, where volunteers experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet. The second is a tandem skydive, which sees volunteers jump from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor, and the final option is a static line jump, performed solo from up to 3,000 feet.
No experience is necessary as all training is provided and participants who raise over £360 may have the opportunity to jump for free.
Anyone interested is asked to contact the hospice’s fundraising team on 01527 889796, for an information pack.
