Town fun day to raise money for cancer charity fund

BROMSGROVE residents are being invited to a charity fun day to support a cancer fund run by a town woman.

Claire Banner’s cancer fund, which raises money for hospital wards to be able to purchase items to make patients stay more comfortable, is holding the fundraising event at Catshill Social Club, in Meadow Road, this Saturday, (July 25).

A variety of activities are planned for the day, including knockout contests of darts, snooker, pool, cribbage and dominoes, with the winners receiving a cash prize. Each contest is £2 to enter, accept for the children’s pool which is £1.

A BBQ, bouncy castle, and face painting is also planned for the day which is open to everyone, not just club members.
