BOYS from across Bromsgrove have been proving they have the right moves thanks to a series of breakdancing workshops.
The workshops, run by Shaun Cope from Spirit Arts, consist of individual and group routines tailored to a number of different age ranges.
So far they been run at a number of schools including North Bromsgrove High, St John's Middle, Catshill Middle and Parkside Middle.
After the Easter break more have been planned with the first at the Artrix next Tuesday, April 27 from 4-5pm.
Anita Baxter, deputy head at North Bromsgrove, said: "We were delighted when we heard that a breakdancing project was being made available to pupils.
"The boys involved in the project really appreciated it, as well as working with Shaun.
“He provided a secure environment for them to have a go and express themselves and their feedback was very positive, with some continuing to work with him during and after school activities.”
The workshops were made possible due to a partnership between Extended Services, Arts Extend, Bromsgrove District Council and the North Worcestershire School Sport Partnership.
