AN inquest into the death of a woman who fell down the stairs of a Belbroughton pub has recorded a verdict that she died as the result of an accident.

Tajinder Kaur Basi, 39, suffered head injuries after falling down the stairs of the Robin Hood, Drayton Road, in the early hours of December 28.

The Willenhall resident died three days later in hospital, on New Year’s Eve.

The verdict was announced on the final day of the inquest, last Thursday, May 13.
