A BROMSGROVE woman, who is the subject of a nationwide drinking banning order (DBO), has appeared in court for the second time in two weeks charged with being drunk and disorderly.

Laura Hall, aged 20, was arrested in Old Birmingham Road, at around 5am last Saturday, May 22, on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

She was charged with that offence, along with two counts of causing criminal damage to clothing, provided to her while she was in police custody, over the weekend.

At Redditch Magistrates Court on Monday, (May 24), she was given concurrent six-month community orders, with a supervision requirement for the criminal damage offences.

There was no separate penalty for being drunk and disorderly. Hall admitted the offences.

Hall was issued with the DBO, prohibiting her from consuming or purchasing alcohol in pubs, nightclubs or hotels, and from purchasing alcohol in shops and off-licenses in England and Wales, in April.

Hall is also banned from having alcohol in any unsealed container or consuming alcohol in any public place.
