A 10-YEAR-old autistic boy from Catshill in Bromsgrove had the treat of a lifetime recently when he was paid a visit by his very own bus.
Edward Littlehales, who attends Pitcheroak Special Needs School in Redditch pays regular visits to his favourite bus at Pesnett bus garage every week.
His mother, Carole Littlehales, said: "When I asked him what he wanted for his 10th birthday he said he didn't want any presents just 'his' bus registration BX09 PGE to come to Bromsgrove."
Staff at National Express agreed to drive a bus over to the car park of Catshill Social Club especially for Edward as a birthday treat, making his wish come true.
Mrs Littlehales added: "The kindness and generosity shown to Edward by all involved is truly overwhelming and as Edward put it 'it was the best day in his history'."
