KIND hearted staff and customers of the Bromsgrove branch of a national clothing chain has supported its fundraising campaign to support a cancer charity.
M&Co’s Bromsgrove store, in High Street, raised £1,080 in support of the firm’s bid to raise £1 million for Cancer Research UK, before July 2012.
So far, nationally, the firm has raise £850,000 for the charity’s groundbreaking work in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
The Bromsgrove firm also supported the charity by becoming a donation station during October, in which customers could donate their unwanted clothes for Cancer Research UK’s shops.
In return, customers donating items received a £5 M&Co gift voucher.
Andy McGeoch, from M&Co, said: “It is really fantastic that everyone has worked together to raise so much for Cancer Research UK.
“We have given ourselves a target and we will strive to achieve this.”
