MEMBERS of a town Royal British Legion branch met Bromsgrove’s MP during a tour of Westminster.
Sajid Javid enjoyed meeting members of the Lickey End branch during their visit to the Houses of Parliament earlier this month.
There was also a chance for the visitors to put their MP on the spot, during a special question and answer session.
Sajid said: “I always enjoy meeting constituents in Westminster, particularly supporters and members of the Royal British Legion who have given so much to our country through their service in the Armed Forces.
“The veterans grilled me on local and national issues, and we exchanged views on foreign affairs and defence issues.
“The Royal British Legion does much important and valuable work for Armed Forces personnel and their families, and I am happy to support them.”
