TWO men have appeared in court charged with robbery, possession of a knife in a public place, theft and taking a vehicle without consent in relation to an incident which happened in Bromsgrove on Sunday, June 17.

Matthew Robert Dancox and Jake Robert Hanley, both aged 22 and of Finstall Road, Bromsgrove, appeared before magistrates in Redditch on Tuesday, June 19.

The pair were arrested following a robbery at a house in Finstall Road where a man was threatened with a knife and had cash stolen from him. A set of car keys were also taken from the property in order to steal a car which was later recovered in Leamington Spa.

Following their appearance in court, Dancox and Hanley were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court later this year.
