Bromsgrove sports club forced to cancel its annual summer fete

A BROMSGROVE sports club has been forced to cancel its annual summer fete this Sunday, (July 15).

Bromsgrove Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club was due to hold its fourth annual summer fete at its home off St Godwald’s Road between noon-4pm.

Organisers say the weather has been against them. The recent heavy rain has made the club’s grounds totally unplayable for cricket, which led to them deciding it would not be suitable for the event.

Organisers are hoping to rearrange the fete, moving it to August and September, though no official decision has been made.
