Looking for something to do?

FAMILIES looking for something to do during the summer break are being reminded that there is a cinema in town.

Boasting a new state-of-the-art projection system, the cinema at the Artrix is playing a number of films for families and young people, as well as an older audience.

Next Friday, August 17 there will be a special screening of Ice Age 4: Continental Drift for people with special needs and their carers. It is on at 11pm.

The film will be shown again on Sunday, August 19 at 4.30pm and on Monday and Tuesday, August 21 at 2pm.

For the slightly older Faust, a 2011 Russian film on the corrupting effects of power, will be screened at 7pm on Sunday, August 19 and again on the Monday.
