From Riverdance to rock...

FROM Riverdance to rock, lead Singer Hayley Griffiths has made a leap from the classical/celtic world into the edgier world of rock.

Hayley, lead vocalist in Riverdance and Lord of the Dance world tours, debuted with rock band Karnataka in early 2012.

She will be the featured vocalist on the band’s forthcoming New Light live album and DVD release.

She is also taking part in the Forbidden Dreams tour, calling in to Bromsgrove, which promises exclusive performances of brand new songs as well as old tracks from the band’s back-catalogue.

As well as Hayley the band comprises award winning musicians and have been featured in Classic Rock Magazine, Record Collector and Mojo.

They have also performed alongside artists such as Status Quo, Robert Plant and Porcupine Tree.

Karnataka will be at the Artrix on September 23.
