TWO talented youngsters have impressed in passing a top music exam in less than a year.
An Lam and Isobel Bridge were both only six when they began taking piano lessons in August 2011.
But An, who attends Finstall First School, and Isobel Bridge, a Dodford First School pupil, managed to take and pass their Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Grade 1 exam in July.
The seven-year-olds attend the David Wadhams Music School, in Stoke Heath, and David, their tutor, said he was impressed with their performance as they both passed in a record time for the music school, with merits.
David said: “This is quite an achievement for such young children.
“An and Isobel have worked very hard - music grades require discipline and dedication as well as talent.
“The girls have a promising future ahead”.
