Rubery Festival to showcase best of local talent

RUBERY villagers are gearing up for their annual festival which is being held this Sunday, (September 9).
This year Rubery Festival is being held as a free event between noon-5pm at Rubery Social Club, in New Road.
The event will be a showcase for local talented singers and acts.
Among the performers will be Sure Thing, Craig Seeney, Sophie Fields, Jasmine Rawlins and Excels Dance Academy.
Lisa-Marie Holmes, an international singer from Rubery, is among the main performers, as well as Alesi, Georgia and Tammy Oliver, this year’s Rubery’s Got Talent winner.
The bar at the club will be open, and food will be available.
