Music lovers invited to organ recital at Bromsgrove church

MUSIC lovers are being invited to an organ recital being held at a Bromsgrove church.

Jonathan Kingston, Bromsgrove School’s director of music, will be giving the recital at All Saints Church, in Burcot Lane, from 6pm on Saturday, September 15.

Jonathan is a recording artist who has appeared on BBC television and radio, including Radio 2’s The Organist Entertains.

He has performed at churches and cathedrals across the country, appearing with several professional orchestras including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Jonathan will be performing a programme of music by composers ranging from the 17th century to today.

There is free entrance to the event, but there will be a collection to cover costs.
