Marlbrook Tip meeting being held this month

TOWNSFOLK are being reminded about a meeting being held this month which will provide the latest updates on Marlbrook Tip.

Bromsgrove District Council has organised the public meeting, being held on Monday, September 24, at Lickey Parish Hall in Old Birmingham Road.

The meeting will be attended by district council members for Marlbrook, councillors Brian Cooper and John Ruck.

The district council’s portfolio holder for planning, Councillor Kit Taylor, and head of planning and regeneration, Ruth Bamford, will also attend.

An investigation previously revealed how significantly more material was taken to Marlbrook Tip than had been allowed by planning permission.

The council say it is maintaining a relationship with the site owner and is monitoring on-site buildings and working on landscaping options to improve the topography of the area.

The meeting starts at 7pm.
