A LUCKY Wythall youngster has been celebrating after winning a competition run by a Bromsgrove open air museum.
Hundreds took part in the competition held at Avoncroft Museum, in Redditch Road, Stoke Heath, over the summer.
Children were challenged to complete a trail around the museum looking for golden houses.
The golden house scheme was inspired by the golden jubilee celebrations for the Merchant’s House - the first rescued building at the museum.
Ella Rupp, from Wythall, was the house hunter picked from all the correct entries and the excited youngster received a prize winning pack that included £100 worth of Avoncroft goodies.
Proud mum, Naomi said: “Ella was thrilled to hear she had won.
“We had such a lovely day at the museum that we decided to take out annual family membership so we can regularly go and visit.”
The next children’s trail at the museum will be on October 14 for Apple Day.
The day will have fun for all the family including cider tasting for adults.
