Enjoy concert of local talent at St Bartholomew's in Tardebigge

AN evening of song and entertainment is promised when a host a number of talented local people perform a concert on Saturday, October 13 to raise much needed funds for the organ at Bartholomew's Church in Tardebigge.

Local singer Miriam Simpson-Moran tops the bill that also features Tardebigge First School choir, and Alcester Victoria Sextet. There will be beautiful duets from three famous operas - Don Giovanni, Magic Flute and Lakme.

A spokesman said: “It promises to be a great evening and everyone is welcome, including children.

"It is a great way to kick off autumn and support a good cause.”

Around £12,000 is needed so that the organ can be cleaned and repaired.

Tickets are available on the door and cost £5.The concert starts at 6.30pm
