Barnt Green residents invited to exhibition on housing development
7:00am Friday 5th October 2012 in News
BARNT Green residents are being invited to an informal public exhibition providing a update on plans for a new housing development for the village.
Banner Homes was granted outline planning permission by Bromsgrove District Council on July 24 for a development of up to 88 homes.
Access to the site onto Fiery Hill Road was approved but the developers are now in the process of developing plans for the appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of the development, which will form part of the reserved matters application.
This is to be put to the council in due course.
Mark Booth, Banner Homes Midlands’ managing director, said: “This exhibition gives residents the opportunity to view and discuss these plans with the Banner Homes team, and for us to take on board any feedback and comments they may have.”
The exhibition is being held between from 5.30-8pm on Thursday, October 11, at the Friends Meeting House, in Sandhills Road, Barnt Green.
Members of the Banner Homes project team will be on hand to discuss draft plans with residents.
