MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Photographic Society have been preparing for the 30th national exhibition being held in November.

The members' exhibition was held at the society’s home, Avoncroft Arts Centre in Stoke Heath, on October 2.

More than 200 entries of prints and projected images were whittled down to 75, which now go through to the national exhibition.

At the meeting, Bob Underhill, of the Smethwick Photographic Society, was chosen to be the judge of the national exhibition.

The national exhibition will be held at the centre on Saturday, November 17, and doors will be open to view prints between noon-5pm.

The evening session will be held at 6pm, with a presentation of awards at 7.30pm. After this there will be a full showing of the projected images.

The society meets every Tuesday from 8pm at Avoncroft Arts Centre. New members are always welcome and the programme covers all aspects of this popular hobby.
