Rubery youngsters enjoy harvest celebrations

HARVEST has been celebrated by Rubery youngsters with a special festival.
The youngsters of Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School enjoyed the festival held at Longbridge Methodist Church, which included a service led by Rev Mary Shannahan.
The children brought in tins of food for a homeless project and sang Dingle Dangle Scarecrow with actions.
Jacqueline Walker, the nursery manager, said it was a very enjoyable event for the children, who also learned about helping people less fortunate than themselves.
