A BROMSGROVE firm has been recognised in a national awards scheme.

Viezu Technologies, based at the Aston Fields Industrial Estate, entered the national Nectar Business Awards in March.

The company were judged by a panel of leading business figures, including businesswoman and star of The Apprentice, Karren Brady.

The firm, which specialises in electronic vehicle tuning, was up for an award in the Best Use of Technology category.

And Viezu was named the winner, earning a seat at a prestigious round table event.

Paul Busby, the firm's co-founder, said everyone was thrilled to have won, and the award proved they had survived the economic downturn and are thriving in better times.

Karren Brady, the lead judge on the panel, said the firm was a strong business, typical of a small acorn growing into a big tree.
