YOUNGSTERS from a Bromsgrove school celebrated national older people’s day by entertaining residents at a Bromsgrove care home.

Pupils from Millfields First School, in Swift Close, dropped in on residents at St John’s Court Nursing Home, in St John Street, on National Older People’s Day, on October 1.

The year two children, aged six and seven, sang a selection of songs, and used actions and a variety of musical instruments.

Year two teacher Jonathan Lejeune said the children enjoyed entertaining the residents, and chatting to them about school life.
