A BROMSGROVE photography student's icy image has been selected as a runner up in a national competition.
David Walker enrolled on to NEW College’s City and Guilds Level 2 Photography course last year, with the intention of extending his knowledge of photography into unfamiliar areas.
The 52-year-old entered City & Guilds’ photo imaging 7512 qualification, which is open to all learners who are currently studying or have completed the qualification.
David’s impressive photograph Ice Castle, capturing Warwick Castle on a bright, frosty morning, has been announced as runner up in the competition.
The photograph was also showcased at the Morley Gallery in London throughout September.
Since completing the course, David says he now plans to improve his knowledge of photoshop and qualify to teach photography part-time.
