BROMSGROVE’S MP is supporting a charity campaign to get townsfolk looking pretty in pink.
Sajid Javid is backing Breast Cancer Campaign’s award-winning fund-raiser, Wear it Pink day, being held on Friday, October 26.
Supporters of the campaign will be embracing this year’s theme, superheroes, by wearing pink superhero capes, socks and pants.
The charity is aiming to raise £2 million on the day, which will be used to continue its ground-breaking research.
Sajid said: “Every year in the UK, around 48,000 women and 340 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.
“This is why we all need to support wear it pink day - so that Breast Cancer Campaign can continue to fund research which will one day lead to a cure.”
