POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident in Rednal and Barnt Green to come forward.
The incident happened at around 6pm, on Wednesday, September 26.
It began as a road rage-type incident in Lickey Road, Rednal, at the traffic light junction with Low Hill Lane, and involved a silver Renault Scenic people carrier, driven by a woman, and a grey BMW 1 Series car, driven by a man.
The incident went along Barnt Green Road, into Kendal End Road, culminating outside the Barnt Green Inn, where the woman claims an object was thrown at her car, chipping the windscreen.
PC Greg Palmer of West Mercia Police said: "The allegations are of dangerous driving, and criminal damage.
“Both drivers have been spoken to but we are looking for independent witnesses who may be able to confirm what happened.
"The driving described by the victim would have been very noticeable to anyone else travelling along this section of road.”
PC Palmer added he was particularly interested in hearing from anybody who may have seen the incident come to an end in Barnt Green.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Palmer on non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 479-s-260912, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
