Lickey End Playgroup to hold its first nearly new sale

A BROMSGROVE playgroup, which has been celebrating 25 years of helping youngsters, is preparing to hold its first ever nearly new sale.

 

Lickey End Playgroup, based at the Methodist Church in Alcester Road, is holding the event on Saturday, November 10, between 10am-noon.

Anyone looking to sell items for babies or toddlers aged up to five-years-old is being invited to hire a table, which will be provided, for £10.

Items for sale include clothes for premature babies to toddlers, a whole range of toys, and equipment including moses baskets, playmats and baby slings.

Cash from table sales goes directly to the playgroup, while any money sellers make they will be able to keep.

Doors to sellers will open at 9am. Entrance to the sale is £1 for adults, children go free. Refreshments will also be available.

Lickey End Playgroup committee member Sarah Orford said: “We thought this event was a great way not only to raise much needed cash for the playgroup, but a chance for parents to buy good quality items - some of which are hardly used.”

Tables will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis ahead of the event.

To secure a table, residents need to send a cheque for £10 payable to Lickey End Playgroup at Lickey End Methodist Church, Alcester Road, Lickey End, Bromsgrove B60 1JX.

Potential sellers should also include their name, address and a daytime telephone number.
