Local hall could be lost if it isn’t used
10:56am Thursday 8th May 2008
I HAVE have been a regular user of Amphlett Hall for 30 years and I am constantly amazed to discover that many Bromsgrove people do not know of its existence.

Ghost town...
10:55am Thursday 8th May 2008
HERE we are again - the wallies at Bromsgrove District Council trying to balance their books by wanting to put up more charges for parking in the town.

It’s the carping!
10:48am Thursday 8th May 2008
CONSERVATIVES voted back a paradox.

What poverty?
10:44am Thursday 8th May 2008
CAN someone explain why, when Bromsgrove District Council is pleading extreme poverty, they are installing big brother type CCTV cameras in car parks?

Route for all
10:38am Thursday 8th May 2008

Helping animals
10:34am Thursday 8th May 2008
I CAME across a heartfelt plea from your local animal sanctuary, Highfields' - 300 mouths to feed, battling against the odds.' In this town we have at least two shops and one supermarket where bins are soon overflowing with tins and packets for local animal homes. Surely the same could be initiated in Bromsgrove and help provide some nurture for those scraps of life discarded through no fault of their own.

10:32am Thursday 8th May 2008
BEING a pensioner I was looking forward to having the new bus pass to be used nationwide, supplied by the Government and which will be helpful.

PERSONALLY I want to thank all our volunteers who turned out for the Rubery bi-annual litter pick and Neighbourhood Watch Promotion spring clean-up day last month.

Home Sec’s back-to-basics approach
10:53am Wednesday 30th April 2008
RARELY has team spirit and total co-operation been more practically displayed than when, the Home Secretary and Redditch MP, Jacqui Smith, discussed the role of Neighbourhood Watch with Chief Superintendent David Spencer D' Division and delegates from Bromsgrove, Kidderminster and Redditch D' Division Neighbourhood Watch.

Picked up...
10:52am Wednesday 30th April 2008
I WOULD like to thank the people who came to help when my partner fell in a car park at Morrisons.

Car independence
10:51am Wednesday 30th April 2008
RESPONDING to a letter about disabled drivers I wish to say my car enables me to be independent, I am in my seventies, disabled, and I have a blue badge for parking but also pay. I am a widow and like most pensioners after paying bills, running costs for my car, I do not have a large disposable income as many in employment do.

THERE were comments in Your view about the roads and pavements of Charford, Bromsgrove, and also the green space between Lyttleton Avenue and Salwarpe Road.

10:49am Wednesday 30th April 2008
I HAVE visited The Artrix in Bromsgrove several times recently and I have been agreeably surprised by the venue and quality of the entertainment provided from the ballet to jazz to stand-up comics.

Losing out
10:48am Wednesday 30th April 2008
YOUR newspaper is the only one to relate the state and condition of Bromsgrove town. Do the people of Bromsgrove understand what is really going on?

Collect the cash...
10:47am Wednesday 30th April 2008
I RECENTLY read that Bromsgrove District Council has written off £289,000 in unpaid council tax in the last financial year.
