REGARDING the withdrawing of concessionary parking passes for pensioners.
I was disgusted to read comments by Councillor Roger Hollingworth that pensioners are no different from the rest, may I remind him that pensioners have to live on pensions.
The idea of a raising the passes from £30 to £40 and restricting the use to weekdays only is a very sensible idea. Pensioners with such sensible ideas should replace Cllr Hollingworth.
As for the remarks from Cllr Margaret Sherrey, they are so weak they are not worth comment.
