IS anyone else cross about the fact that our local bus to Charford has gone up to £1 per journey?
It used to be £1.20 a return trip, then for some reason returns were stopped. Also First Travel took the bus off Charford so a £5 ticket from them, which would take you on a bus trip from Charford to anywhere else you wished to go for one price has also gone.
I thought everyone was being encouraged to give up cars and use public transport. Or is that just hype and the reality is that those of us that really need the bus and either can't afford a car or can't drive, and can't afford to learn, have to pay.

As usual, the less well-off pay more - those of us that work and haven't got passes.
I expect someone will write and say walk which, if I have time, I will be doing from now on.
