YES, another letter about the Meadows footpath in Bromsgrove!

If the head teachers are so concerned about pupils' health and safety at Parkside and the Meadows Schools, surely it would be safer and healthier for them to walk at least some of the way than to be ferried everywhere? The new perimeter fence is already constructed and with camera's installed.

Surely it is not impossible to come to some compromise? One idea would be as there are already gates on the playing fields on both sides of the path, these could be opened across the path, as and when needed, to separate the children from anyone using the path, which would only cause a short interference for everyone.

This would enable the path to be enjoyed by the majority for most of the time, especially when the schools are not using the facility.

A saddened local resident.
