It’s the carping!

CONSERVATIVES voted back a paradox.

Nick Psirides cannot understand why, with a Conservative controlled district council described as poorly performing,' with car park charges going up and with Council Tax as ever on the increase, there is still overwhelming support for the Conservatives.

Perhaps he should read the Advertiser/Messenger each week.

Rantings from the leader of the local Labour group, never constructive but taking great delight in criticising any actions taken by anyone else. His own continual carping and implications that he and his small and disparate group of Independents could do better if they were in charge.

May I remind him and the Labour Party that the situation the council finds itself in was partly of their making - appalling financial control when Labour were in control and dictatorial leadership under him.
