I MUST express how appalled we are at the service we receive as residents of Hollywood and Wythall.
I appreciate that we are on the forgotten edge of Bromsgrove District Council's area, but we still pay our taxes.
There cannot be any excuse for the years of neglect to our roads. The health and safety aspect alone is obviously something the council totally ignores. The pot holes are a living nightmare to cyclists, motor cyclists and motorists - nowhere in the council's area can there be any road or lane worse than ours.

Hollywood and Wythall are residential areas and yet we now have retail and trade expansion on Becketts Farm year on year. Roofing and building companies are allowed to expand in our residential community.
How on earth can the council have allowed the monstrous two storey industrial building to be built on the corner of Hollywood Lane and Alcester Road is beyond us all; yet another sign of the council's total disregard for us, the taxpayers.
The district councillors and planning department have so much to answer for.
Our taxes increase year on year and the service gets worse. In the forlorn hope of value for money, improvements to our lives - we can only live in hope.
