RECENTLY some friends and myself visited the Artrix Theatre, Bromsgrove, to see Us and Our Education' performed by adults with learning difficulties.
The show brought home the problems faced by people with learning difficulties when they wish to enter into the workplace (mainly due to the immense paperwork involved) The purpose of my writing is simply to say how emotional, funny and very rewarding we found the show. Congratulations to all involved on a great night, and a special well done to Cyril Meacham on his wonderful performance and great guitar playing!
It was also good to hear that Bromsgrove District council support this even.
My first and certainly not my last trip to the Artrix. Congrats and well done everyone.

QUEENIE, a rather big fat pig, has had her bacon saved by a Bromsgrove animal sanctuary.
THIS November could be the last that Remembrance Day is marked in Bromsgrove in the time honoured and moving way – unless the town's British Legion can persuade new young recruits to join its ranks.
A POPULAR High Street store has become the latest victim of the current credit crunch.
THREE wards at Bromsgrove’s Princess of Wales Community Hospital have been closed after an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting.
A NEW comedy by Stewart Lee, Elizabeth and Raleigh: Late But Live, is now on a national tour and will be stopping off in Bromsgrove this Friday.
FEW towns in Britain have remained untouched by modernisation and change since the last war and Droitwich Spa is no exception.
