WITH the new season some months off, cricketers have to content themselves with happy memories of glorious deeds of runs made and wickets taken last summer.
This photo of a group of players and officials, plus the Jack Russell - was he the mascot? - was hung up at The Crown pub in Wychbold for a number of years.
According to John Brown, who emailed us the photo and who comes from Wychbold, The Crown at one time had a cricket pitch which has led him to assume this is the village team.
Sadly he doesn't know the year the photo was taken or any of the players' names.
If any of our readers can fill in the gaps we will be happy to pass the information on to John. Either call 01527 837000 or email pete.lammas@midlands.newsquest.co.uk
