WORSHIPPERS at St John's parish church in Bromsgrove had contributed towards a record collection of £90/6/8 over Easter when some 423 people had taken communion. BROMSGROVE'S new swimming bath to be built by the district council on land off Alcester Road at a cost of £135,000 was said to be too expensive and would not be approved by the government minister.
