SHE'S SO LOVELY: Peter Ellard, Roy Stride and Greg Churchouse, from Scouting for Girls, with Bromsgrove School student Iskra Hughes, who features in their latest video.

A TOWN student was the chosen girl after being scouted for a new music video.

Iskra Hughes was selected from more than 300 other girls at a London audition to feature in indie-pop trio Scouting for Girls' new video for their single, which is called Heartbeat.

Iskra attended the all day shooting of the video with the band, which took place in Clapham. The 17-year-old features prominently in some scenes and can be spotted as a dancer in the crowd.

Iskra is a sixth form student at Bromsgrove School, in Worcester Road, and is studying maths, economics, art and biology.

The new Scouting For Girls single is released on Monday, April 7, and the video is now showing on YouTube.
