Town woman gets a CRASBO

A THIRTY-year-old woman faces a five year jail sentence if she breaks a criminal anti-social behaviour order (CRASBO) which has been granted against her.

Tracey Left, of Foxwalks Avenue, Bromsgrove, was issued with a two-year CRASBO by Redditch magistrates last Thursday.

The CRASBO prohibits Left from being drunk or disorderly, engaging in conduct which is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others in a public place and consuming alcohol in a public place. It applies in both Bromsgrove or Redditch.

“This CRASBO illustrates our commitment to seeking long-term solutions in order to tackle crime and disorder and we hope it sends out a clear message that we will not tolerate any behaviour which ruins the quality of life of residents or people in Bromsgrove or Redditch.”
Sergeant Steve Tristram

Sergeant Steve Tristram, of Bromsgrove police, said: "Left has a large number of previous convictions and has been a persistent nuisance over many years.

"She becomes violent towards other people while drunk, attacks police officers, shoplifts and is responsible for ongoing anti-social behaviour in the Foxwalks Avenue area.

"This CRASBO illustrates our commitment to seeking long-term solutions in order to tackle crime and disorder and we hope it sends out a clear message that we will not tolerate any behaviour which ruins the quality of life of residents or people in Bromsgrove or Redditch."

The order follows a similar CRASBO granted to Adrian John Nation by Redditch magistrates in February.

Under the order, Nation was banned from entering 17 pubs and clubs which are involved in the Bromsgrove Against Night-time Disorder (BAND) scheme.
