Well done

THE Bromsgrove branch of a young people's career advice service has been praised by its parent service after advising a record amount of townsfolk in their careers. Hereford and Worcestershire Connexions has thanked its staff in Bromsgrove who have enabled at least 92 per cent of town youngsters to find opportunities in education, employment and training. Connexions, which provides impartial advice, guidance and support, carried out a record number of individual contacts and interviews over the last 12 months. Lesley Taylor, who is team manager, Connexions Bromsgrove, said: "All young people need help and support at some time. We have excellent people in Connexions, totally committed to helping all young people to achieve the best they can in education, employment and training opportunities."
