SWASHBUCKLING pirates and characters from fairytales came to life for youngsters at a school in Bromsgrove.
Pupils at Stoke Prior First School had a great time learning about buckaneers, islands, colours and characters in fairy stories dressing up, cooking and eating Caribbean dishes.
The teachers had planned and taught a varied, challenging and exciting series of lessons based on the new national move towards a world class curriculum, which is skills-based and allows children to gain vital life skills needed in an ever changing world.
