IT'S hats off to children from an Aston Fields pre-school who took part in their Easter celebrations.

Youngsters from St Godwald's Playgroup, at St Godwald's Church Hall on the Finstall Road, made their own Easter bonnets as part of the playgroup's Easter extravaganza fundraising event, including an Easter egg hunt and hot cross buns.

The pre-school raised £50 from the event, organised by Clare McFadyen a staff member of the pre-school, which will be used to buy equipment including musical instruments.

“All the children took part in the fundraising event, with some fun bonnets including a chick and a hat made from Easter egg boxes.”
Sue Overton, St Godwald’s Playgroup supervisor

Sue Overton, St Godwald's Playgroup supervisor, said: "All the children took part in the fundraising event, with some fun bonnets including a chick and a hat made from Easter egg boxes."
