Technology boost

MORE jobs for Bromsgrove people could be on the cards now that the town's technology park is set to expand.

Detailed planning consent has been received from Bromsgrove District Council for a 75,000 square foot scheme of small business units at Bromsgrove Technology Park. Parking for 188 cars is also included.

The scheme provides highly flexible space suitable for a mix of office, workshop, storage and distribution functions.

The buildings have been designed along simple lines. Chase Commercial Ltd intends to start development of all 75,000 sq ft this month.

Atisreal and Phoenix Beard have been appointed agents and are to market units from 2,368 sq ft (220 sq m) to 16,149 sq ft (1,500 sq m).

It is anticipated that the first units will be available for occupation this autumn, while the whole scheme should be completed by the end of 2008.
