PUPILS from a town school will swap their classroom for a trip to County Hall tomorrow (Thursday, May 8). Eight children from Finstall First School - which has Eco School Status - will make the visit, which will see them meet the chairman of the council, Councillor John Smith. The nine and ten-year-olds will also be given the chance to experience a full council meeting. The special visit will be rounded off with a tour of the boiler room at County Hall in Worcester which houses a wood chip burner that uses renewable energy resources.
