Welcome to town

10:08am Wednesday 16th July 2008

VISITORS from Bromsgrove's twin town will be welcomed this Friday for a four-day visit. The guests, from Gronau, Germany, will be met by Bromsgrove District Council chairman Caroline Spencer at the Council House in Burcot Lane, for a special reception to begin their visit on Friday, July 18. Over the weekend, the visitors will take a trip to the Arrow Countryside Centre, Alvechurch Parish Hall, and the Avoncroft Museum of Buildings. The visit follows a recent trip to Gronau by a group of youngsters from Waseley Hills High School, who went out with Councillor Janice Boswell and parish councillor Janet King. Next Monday morning, there will be a final farewell with photographs taken, at Bromsgrove Council House.
