THE Bromsgrove district committee of the NSPCC held a very successful lunch at the rugby club for 90 ladies.
Guests were treated to a two course lunch with drinks prepared by the committee followed by a fabulous fashion show by Continental Collextions of Barnt Green. A raffle was held and in total a wonderful £1,064.80 was raised to help the NSPCC's vital work with children. Thanks to everyone who came and supported us. The next event the committee are organising will be held at the Artrix theatre on Friday, June 6, at 12 noon. A light lunch, with coffee, will be served in the foyer at a cost of £5 a ticket followed by a screening of the The Other Boleyn Girl. For tickets for the lunch please contact Sue Rudge on 01527 874757 or Pam Chapman on 01527 832600. Tickets for the film to be booked directly with the Artrix. Please come and support the NSPCC.
