Guide Dogs for the Blind

The newly-formed Bromsgrove and Redditch fundraising committee for Guide Dogs for the Blind held a collection outside Morrisons which raised £1,878. We are very grateful to Morrisons and the generosity of their customers. As one guide dog costs around £30,000 we are continuing our fundraising efforts and the next event will be the Lions fun day at Arrow Valley Park, Redditch, on June 14, when we shall have a stall and there will be an opportunity to be blindfold and led around an obstacle course by a guide dog. We are also planning a midsummer ball on June 20 at the Gainsborough Hotel, Kidderminster. Tickets are £30 or £250 for a table of ten and can be booked from Pam on 01527 834953.
