LAW firm, Harrison Clark, has welcomed five new arrivals to its expanding Hereford offices.

The solicitors opened its Broad Street offices in March and the team has since been growing, leading to it now incorporating the upper floor of the Thorpe House building into its work space.

One of the latest additions to Harrison Clark Hereford is solicitor in the private client department, Fiona Davies, who specialises in dealing with families of dementia sufferers as well as aspects of law relating to elderly clients and wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney.

She practised in Shropshire before moving to Canada for nine years, where she worked as a paralegal and notary public in Manitoba and for the Interior Alzheimer Society in British Colombia.

She returned to Herefordshire in 2007, where she still lives and is also a member of the Three Counties Cancer Network.

Ms Davies is assisted by trainee solicitor, Emily Hardaker, who began her career at Harrison Clark in 2009 in the family law department at the solicitor’s Cheltenham offices.

She became a paralegal in the corporate department and after working in other departments joined her current role in the wills, trusts and probate team.

She will qualify as a solicitor next March.

Associate Solicitor in the litigation department, Joanne Hodgetts, joined the Hereford team from the Worcester office, where she worked for six years.

Ms Hodgetts has county court and high court litigation experience and is regularly instructed to resolve disputes in practice areas such as business sales and contract disputes, partnerships and joint shareholders’ rights.

Before qualifying as a solicitor, she worked in industry for a FTSE 100 company as well as business start-ups.

The trio are joined by Katie Potter, chartered legal executive, who will be assisting partner Matt Hayes in Hereford’s commercial property team.

Ms Potter worked at Harrison Clark’s Worcester offices before her move.

Senior associate Lucy Long moved to the Hereford office from Harrison Clark's Worcester office earlier this spring.

Her work covers family law but she specialises in divorce, financial provision and issues surrounding children.
