LAW firm Harrison Clark Shawcross has assisted a businesswoman in invest in Ross-on-Wye by purchasing a retail store.
Harrison Clark Shawcross’ Ross-on-Wye office advised on the acquisition of Little Chic, a children’s clothes and toys boutique in Brookend Street.
The firm, which has offices in Ross, Hereford, Worcester and Cheltenham, as well as serviced offices in Birmingham and London, helped new owner, Sarka Walker, during the acquisition process.
Little Chic is Ms Walker’s first business venture of its kind. The firm will also assist and advise her in Little Chic’s development of an online, ecommerce site, through which to sell its range of clothes, gifts and toys.
Harrison Clark Shawcross partners, Arpinder Dhillon and Matthew Hayes led the corporate and commercial property legalities of the project respectively.
Ms Dhillon said: “Sarka knew what she wanted so she was able to make commercial decisions about the acquisition relatively quickly.”
Ms Walker said: “I am now very much looking forward to being part of Ross’ trading community.”
